Course plan for a M.A Degree Visual Arts / Program Intended Learning Outcomes

  1. Developing practical skills in various visual arts fields such as painting, sculpture, graphic design, and photography using modern techniques and methods.

  2. The ability to critically analyze and interpret artworks, linking them to historical, cultural, and social contexts.

  3. Enhancing students' creative capacities and enabling them to create original artworks that reflect their personal vision and integrate cultural heritage with modern techniques.

  4. Developing research skills in the field of visual arts, including the ability to prepare critical and applied studies that contribute to understanding and analyzing artistic phenomena.

  5. Improving communication and presentation skills for artistic ideas, whether verbally or through exhibitions or artistic publications, with the ability to defend artistic choices.

  6. Fostering an ethical and social understanding of the artist's role in society and the importance of arts in driving cultural and social change.

  7. Acquiring skills in using modern digital and technological tools in executing artistic projects, such as digital design, animation, and interactive digital art.
