Heba Sami Abbasi is a Jordanian musician and an activist in the fields of women's rights and community service. She holds a Ph.D. in Musical Sciences from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon with distinction and honors. She also holds a specialization in music conducting, choir conducting, and vocal training from the Vienna Boys Choir, where she received training under the guidance of Mr. Gerald Wirth, the conductor and composer who serves as the director of the Vienna Boys Choir and founder of the Wirth Music Academy, along with other experts in the field.
She has published several research papers and journalistic articles that explore the status of music in Jordan. With extensive experience, she has participated in various local and regional music conferences and festivals and has been involved in several community and church choirs. In addition to her work as a full-time lecturer in the Department of Musical Arts at the College of Arts and Design at the University of Jordan, she has served as the head of the cultural committee at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Amman since 2021.
