The Department of Visual Arts at the College of Arts and Design at the University of Jordan hosted today the architect and specialist in paper cutting and fashion drawings, the artist Shamaakh Al-Balawi, to share his artistic experience with the students of the college. The event was attended by the dean of the college, Dr. Ali Abu Ghneimah, the head of the Department of Visual Arts, Dr. Muatasem Al-Karabila, and several faculty members.
Al-Balawi presented an overview of his artistic works, noting that studying architecture has helped him see things from a different perspective, observe aesthetics, and simplify these aesthetics for the recipient to convey the meaning of the artwork.
